Picturestitch in Varese
Today Picturestitch was wondered and inspired. First, there was a trip to Varese centro with its multitide of shops and stalls vending unmistakeably Italian designed clothing, craft and glassware. These artefacts of chic were certainly food for design influences. Later, from our flawless hotel there came a truly magical experience. Walking up the steep cobbled pathway, we became travellers on part of the route of The Sacred Walk incorporating 15 Churches and chapels depicting Christ's life. Each new turn if the passageway climb revealed a continuos town hunkered and melded seamlessly into the mountain side both left and right. Every new turn revealed picture perfect opportunity to capture the essence of provincial Italian living. To our right bars and restaurants had claimed their veranda views with balconies delivering the truest meaning of vista. As we approached the summit we were wowed with the sight of the

Approaching Milan airport there was a bang and what seemed like roller coaster turbulance. Cabin crew fell over and the rest of the flight was a little bumpy. On landing we found out part of our plane had left us!!
